The Diamond Wedding Star is a foundation paper pieced patter from Quiltworx.com.  This design has been around for several years and this is the firs time the cover has been updated.  It requires (1) Quiltworx Strip Set and the one used on the coversheet and in this pattern is called Eva's Rainbow Strip Set.  The Strip Sets are custom designed, sorted and packaged using Tonga Batiks from Timeless Treasures, designed by Judy and Judel Niemeyer.  They come already packaged in the order you will sew them onto your units, so make sure not to mess up the order of the strips in the package!  The design also requires 21-1/8 yards of fabrics to complete the background, and the Stars that sit behind the diamond Rings.  The pattern can be purchased with or without the pattern.  We also recommend the Creative Grids Diamond Wedding Ring Ruler set and the Creative Grids 60 degree triangle ruler to help with the cutting and trimming of the background fabrics and arcs for this quilt.  Those can be purchased on the Quiltworx Website or at a local Quilt Shop, separately.
