This is the revised version of the Summer Solstice created using a strip piecing technique that results in a 60" x 60" quilt which is slightly larger than the original version.

If you would like to make this pattern a Queen, the best way to do this is to purchase the Summer Solstice Queen pattern.  

If you have already purchased this pattern, you can find the Summer Solstice Queen Expansion layout in Quiltster and begin coloring from there.  If you have the V4-042023 version of this design, all the templates you need to go to a queen are included in the pattern.  prior to that, and you will need to purchase a Solstice Queen Expansion package to get the templates you need.  

We have also added a layout to get to King size from this pattern in Quiltster as well.  You can look for the Summer Solstice King expansion.  Again, if you have the V4-042023 (find this at the bottom of each page of your pattern), you have the conversion templates you will need to get to the size quilt necessary to begin adding borders (borders are sold separately).  If you don't have the V4 pattern, you will need to purchase the Solstice Queen Introduction booklet to get the template you need.  

NOTE: The original version of Summer Solstice is not compatible with this version. Unit Names and Fabric References have changed.  Please make sure you have the correct version as they are both in Quiltster. You can tell the difference by referencing the cover sheet, quilt size and the name.  Thank you for understanding!
