The Coral Reef is the 2021 Technique of the Month pattern designed by Quiltworx.com.  The pattern is licensed by Quiltworx Certified Shops and Instructors and can only be purchased through them.  If you purchase from an instructor, it must be part of a workshop.  Quiltworx has several instructors offering Zoom workshops and others doing in person training. This layout provides (2) options.  A wall at 80" Square, and a Queen at 99" Square.  

Unique to this pattern is also the use of COLOR ALTERNATIVES!  This is important if you are wanting to create a Rainbow Quilt.  You can use the clear button on each block and open up a series of Color Alternatives.  I highly recommend you do this once you receive your pattern in the mail so you understand how each alternative works.  Or, click on each and play with them.  Check your yardage to see what you want to work with.  When you choose your option, make sure to make notes on which ones you chose so when you decide on your favorite combo, you can quickly reference that as you make your pattern! 

You can also check the Print page here, and find the Required Blocks.  This will tell you which Alternatives you Selected.  

NOTE:  Does Your Quilt have CRAZY HIGH yardage?  If so, it is likely because you need to change Color Alternatives.  For a rainbow quilt, which is popular with this design, you will likely want to choose at least Color Alternative 1 for each block, and possibly even another Color Alternative.  In most cases, the Standard Alternative will likely require significantly higher yardage.
