The Mermaids Tale pattern is a foundation paper pieced pattern designed by Quiltworx.com.  The pattern features the Tonga Mini Collection called Basil, which was designed by Judy and Judel Niemeyer for Timeless Treasures.  It is a Collectors Club design, which means that there are only 500 patterns available and when they are gone, they are gone.  

The pattern completes to a size of 68" Square.  If you are interested in making it larger, you can choose the Mermaids Tale Queen Expansion project in Quiltster, select a Queen border of your choice, and order that.  It is recommended that you purchase the Cattail Mixer Queen Introduction Booklet, along with your border option to receive the Queen Size assembly instructions.  If you already have this book, you do not need to purchase another one.
