Maritime Compass is a foundation paper pieced pattern designed by Quiltworx.com. 
The quilt blocks were designed by Judy and Bradley Niemeyer. The layout and colorway was created by Judel Niemeyer.  The cover quilt was made and quilted by Michael Davison.

This quilt includes several templates for you to explore within the customize option.  There are multiple color options for each block, so please review the following information to choose the correct template.  

1.  There is a Blank Template where the Blocks are Locked to only allow you to color those included in the cover quilt.  
2. There is a Blank Template where the Blocks are Locked to only allow you to color the block options that are identified as "Standard" in your pattern.  
3. There is a Pre-colored Template that matches the cover quilt and some day there may be multiple pre-colored options to match different colorways of this design.  For these templates, you cannot change the blocks, but you can edit the fabrics.  
4. There is a blank mixer option.  There may be lots of block options when you open this template that span across many patterns.  However, to stay with the blocks included in this published design, please choose only the A-001, B-001, C-001, and E-001 blocks (and any that are labeled as an alternate of those blocks.  If you choose something else, you will need to work with mixer booklets instead of the blocks included in the pattern. 

There are many ways to expand your Quiltworx designs into larger sizes with compatible border packages, but in Quiltster, you will need to start with the correct template.  Please look for the following templates if you plan to expand, instead of using this one.   

To expand the 80" Square, use the Maritime Compass Wall Expansion option and choose your own 281-D border.  

To expand the 68″ quilt to a 118″ King,, you will add one of the 281D borders to get you to 80″, and then a 277H King On-Point border to achieve 118″.  Chose the Maritime Compass King Expansion option to get to this size. 

To expand your 68" quilt to 99" Queen, you will add a 242-D On-point Queen border of your choice.  Choose the Maritime Compass Queen Expansion template to get to this size.
