Mixer patterns offer a pattern (introduction booklet) plus a series of pre-designed, interchangeable block options that you can mix and match to build a custom quilt. 

To create the Courtyard Fountain Mixer Wall Quilt. This design has (3) different groups, a 16" Square center group, a B Border that brings the quilt to 57" square, and a C Border, which increases the quilt to 68" square. The outermost block is blank and is included in the pattern instructions.  To complete this quilt, add the pattern plus three blocks to your shopping cart. Required quantities for each block group are listed below.

The pattern (introduction booklet) includes all of the information that is common to any combination of block designs for this pattern including how to find corrections, general pattern information, supply lists and the final assembly steps (which are the same regardless of how you combine the interchanging blocks).

Once you purchase this pattern, you do not need to purchase it again for future Mixer designs of the same size. Simply use Quiltster to create a new combination of the required blocks and then purchase the block designs you have chosen.

You may purchase the pattern and associated blocks here.  For example, you may have purchased a “fabric only” kit from a shop or instructor that used Quiltster to create a custom design.
