This lively design captures the spirit of flocks of flamingos—vibrant pinks, glowing corals, and rich reddish plumage—swirling together in a kaleidoscope of movement and color. It’s a quilt that feels like sunshine on feathers.

Measuring 80″ square, Fancy Flamingo can easily spread its wings  to a dramatic 118″ square with the 277-H border.  This expansion layout allows you to add the King Border of your choice and play with it.  We suggest the Radiating Geese Border as an option for this quilt, but any border can be selected.  

An layout of the original king size cover quilt is included as a template in this pattern, made from the warm, spicy palette of the Timeless Treasures Apple Basket Collection, designed by Judy and Judel Niemeyer. The stunning 118″ sample — expertly pieced by Certified Instructor Tracy Thompson of Lotus Owl Fiber Arts, LLC –shows off the pattern’s tropical elegance, and the quilting is nothing short of gorgeous.

In addition to the original pattern, you will need to order the following: 

(1) 277-H King Border of your choice.  

If you do not add the border to your order, you will only receive the wall size pattern and need to order the border again.
