The Blue Moon Placemats are a foundation paper piecing pattern by Quiltworx.com.  These placemats are great beginner projects and teach the basics of paper piecing, floating points, using cutting templates, and curved piecing.  Each pattern includes enough papers to make (6) placemats.  You can make them all different colors, or color them all the same.  The more variation you use, the more yardage you will need, but feel free to have fun with it!  This pattern is a great way to learn how to use Quiltworx patterns.
