The Wild Goose Island is a foundation paper pieced Collectors Club design from Quiltworx.com.  As a Collectors Club, it features fabrics from the Blackberry Cobbler Tonga Batik Mini Collection.  Only 500 of these patterns are available and when they are sold, they will be gone.  The pattern was named for both the fact that it looks like goose feathers or goose down.  Plus, in St. Mary's lake, in northwest Montana, also within Glacier National Park, there is a tiny island called Wild Goose Island.
