Confetti Cake is a foundation paper pieced pattern by Quiltworx.com.  It  incorporates 3 rounds of diamond blocks, sewn together with sashing strips to eliminate the complicated process of matching points.  There are three different colorways used to layout the diamonds in this quilt, which makes it very fun to play with and explore color options.  

The quilt finishes to 100" square.  There is currently not a way to expand it other than adding an unpieced border to the outside of the quilt.  

In late June of 2023, Judy Niemeyer will be doing an online tutorial, free for this design.  It will be live streamed on both the Quiltworx.com facebook page and Quiltworx youtube channel.  It will be saved and archived on Quiltworx Youtube under Live Videos as well, so you can go back and watch it anytime!  Or, if you missed the live event, just tune into the recorded version and learn how to sort your fabrics, sew the diamonds, add the sashing, and fussy cut the border!
