The Cattails in the Meadow Queen is a 2023 Collector's Club design from Quiltworx.com.  Only 500 of these designs will be released!  

This design requires foundation paper piecing and applique skills.  It is a re-imagined version of our Cattails in the Meadow design that has been on the market for many years.  We have changed out the Chevron Fence border on the original design for the more rustic Barbed Wire Fence Border, and added a Wagon Wheel design (which also looks like a sprinkler wheel) to expand it to a Queen Border!  The Golds and Rusts of the Maple Leaf Tonga Batik Collection designed by Judy and Judel Niemeyer were perfect for this quilt as it looks like wheat fields and sunshine, which is emblematic of a meadow full of cattails on a warm summer or early Fall afternoon!  

The design does not have options for making it larger and finishes to a 99" square design.   The pattern includes stich-n-peel laser cut applique pieces for the Cattails, and all the foundation papers to make the queen size quilt.
